How to Make a Bookmark Out of Washi Tapes

By Blogs By Cha - 6:30 PM

This afternoon was very inspirational that I ended up making a simple DIY out of washi tapes. I've been obsessed with washi tapes for a few months already that I used them to make a back case for my phone and keyboard covers for my laptop. To continue that craze, I will teach you on how to make a bookmark out of washi tapes. They are sooo easy to make and I'm pretty sure you won't have a hard time in doing it.

Materials:
Washi Tapes (purchased from Fab Manila)
Scissors
Good book

Step 1: Cut washi tape in desired length.

Step 2: Fold the end of the tape to the top, leaving at least half an inch (or bigger to avoid the tape from holding on too much on the page and also to avoid tearing the pages of your book)

3. Cut any design you like at the folded end.

4. Use the sticky part that you left to stick on the book.

And voila! You're done! You now have a very affordable (almost free) and cute bookmark for your favorite books. You won't have to worry about it falling off, too!

There you have it! A simple, super inexpensive and useful DIY for all the book readers/lovers and book owners out there.
